Missed-call text back
The call is not answered. The tool texts the caller so they can reply and pick a time, instead of waiting for them to call again.

Texting and calling agents
HVAC, contractors, roofers, and dental offices miss calls while they are on a job or with a customer. A texting agent or a calling agent can answer that gap. This page says what the tools do, which prices are published, and what to measure. It does not claim a conversion rate.
A missed call is often a missed appointment. The crew is on a roof, the tech is in a mechanical room, or the front desk is checking a patient in. The caller does not always leave a voicemail. Some tools text that caller back. Some answer the phone with an AI agent and keep the same conversation going by text. Some do both.
Bland posted on Oct 15, 2026 that a business can send a link and get a branded iMessage agent, with tapbacks, embedded components, and payments inside the chat. Bland's own pricing page, read the next day, still lists iMessage on the Enterprise column only. Voice rates and an SMS per-message rate are published. A separate iMessage price is not.

The call is not answered. The tool texts the caller so they can reply and pick a time, instead of waiting for them to call again.
On Apple devices the message can come from a branded contact, with the business name and logo, and can include photos, files, and voice memos. Bland's docs say the same flow falls back to SMS when the phone cannot take iMessage.
A voice agent answers or places the call. Bland's pricing page publishes a per-minute rate that includes the language model, transcription, and voice. Phone-carrier charges are billed separately.
Bland says voice, SMS, and iMessage can share the same pathway and memory, so a person who called yesterday is recognized if they text today. The outcome that matters here is still a booking, not a longer chat.
Of the texts the agent sends, how many get a reply. A sent text that nobody answers did not book the job.
How many conversations end with a time on the calendar or a job on the schedule. Count bookings, not messages.
How many unanswered calls got a text, how many of those texts got a reply, and how many became an appointment.
Monthly cost divided by (bookings times value per booking, divided by 30 days). The same formula as the rest of this tracker. Do not use a vendor's claimed payback in place of your own bookings.
No measured results yet. Nothing on this page is from a business log. The row below is only the layout we will use when a shop shares its numbers.
| Reply rate | Booked appointments | Missed-call text-back recovery | Payback |
|---|---|---|---|
| [reply rate] | [booked appointments] | [missed calls recovered by text] | [payback] |
Payback = monthly cost ÷ (bookings × value per booking ÷ 30 days).
Copied from Bland's public pricing page and SMS docs. Checked Oct 16, 2026. This is not an endorsement. If a price is not on the linked page, the cell says so.

Bland's pricing page says the per-minute rate covers the language model, transcription, and voice, and that telephony is billed separately. The comparison table marks SMS, web chat, and iMessage as Enterprise only. Enterprise is listed as custom. How we copy prices.
It is an agent that replies to texts, answers common questions, and offers a time to book. For a trade, that is often a missed call that turns into a text while the owner is on a job. This page does not publish a reply rate or a booking rate until a business shares its logs.
When a call is not answered, the system texts the caller so they can reply and book. Measure three things: how many missed calls got a text, how many of those texts got a reply, and how many became an appointment.
It is a business agent that texts in iMessage, often from a branded contact with the company name and logo, instead of a plain phone number. Bland's docs say the same pathway can fall back to SMS when the recipient cannot use iMessage. Bland's pricing table lists iMessage on Enterprise only.
On bland.ai/pricing, checked Oct 16, 2026, Start is $0.14 per minute with a $0 platform fee, and Build is $299 a month plus $0.12 per minute. That page lists iMessage on Enterprise only, and Enterprise is custom. Bland's SMS docs list $0.02 per SMS, inbound and outbound, as an Enterprise feature. Bland does not publish a separate iMessage price.
Use monthly cost divided by (bookings times value per booking, divided by 30 days). You need your own booking count and what one appointment is worth. A vendor demo is not that measurement. No payback figure has been published on this page.
